We are heartbroken to share the passing of Mark Andrew Ellmer, a wonderful son, father, partner, brother, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on May 18, 2026, at the age of 34. Mark’s vibrant spirit, creative talent, and caring nature touched everyone he knew, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration. Though his loss is deeply felt, his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.

Mark was known for his quick wit and infectious humor, which brought joy and light to all those around him. His genuine personality was evident in everything he did, and he was never afraid to be himself—authentic, honest, and full of life. As a talented tattoo artist, Mark poured his creativity into his work, sharing his unique vision with others. His artwork was more than ink—each piece told a story, carried meaning, and reflected his vibrant personality. His passion for his craft created a lasting legacy, one that will continue to inspire and bring joy to his clients and friends alike.

More than his artistic talents and sense of humor, Mark’s greatest love was for his family. His son, Noah Timothy Ellmer, was the light of his life, and Mark’s devotion to him knew no bounds. He cherished every moment spent with Noah, and his love for his son was evident in all his actions. Mark’s role as a father was his greatest achievement, and he took pride in guiding, supporting, and loving Noah unconditionally. His family was his foundation, and their memories together will forever be treasured.

Mark was also loved deeply by his partner, Jackie Hasse, and his family members, including his parents, Michael and Karen Ellmer; his grandmother, Rose Kadelock; and his siblings, Karen Gorski (Christopher) and Stephanie Montesino (Esrom). He was a beloved uncle to nieces and nephews Karolina, Penelope, Summer, and Lincoln, and his wide circle of friends and extended family will forever remember his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.

A funeral service to honor Mark’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at St. Matthew Parish, located at 3000 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149. Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., with the funeral mass starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects and celebrate his life.

Though Mark has left this earthly life, his memory, love, and creative spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. In loving memory of a remarkable man whose light will never fade.
